So, once again I had a crisis that happened right in the middle of 1-2 am in the morning. I was putting music CDs on my iPod to listen to (expanding library...) when my CD/DVD drive decides to conk out on me. I was frantic. I tried cleaning the lenses, googleing, posting on forums, and then finally decided to do the simplest thing. Uninstall/Reinstall the driver for it. Once I did that, no problems. My discs now read fine, and my music cds no longer come up as Blank CD-Rs. What a relief. I was so freaked out when I thought my "Witch Hunter Robin" OSTs had died. I love the first OST. And then I put in my Evanescence albums. I thought they died, too!
You can imagine how frantic I was. I was almost in tears. Mind you, this is 2-3 am in the morning, and we leave tomorrow around 10 for my grandparents. To help fix my grandfather's PC. Boy, do I have a story to tell tomorrow!
